Privacy Policy

Edutainment Hub ("we", "us") operates the games at tools.sameerghorsane.com.np. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the games, we never sell your data, and your password is stored in a form nobody — including us — can read.

Information we collect

  • Account details — your email address, chosen player name, and (optionally) your country, provided when you register or sign in with Google.
  • Google sign-in — if you use "Continue with Google", Google shares your name and verified email address with us. We never see your Google password.
  • Gameplay data — your current level, best completion times, lives, and play counts, so your progress and leaderboard rank work.
  • Security data — recent login attempts (email and IP address), used to block password-guessing attacks.

Cookies and local storage

We use an essential session cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to save settings (like sound preferences) and offline game progress. These are required for the site to function.

Advertising: we may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn more at how Google uses data from partner sites.

Age check for the 18+ game decks (V661). Duo and Spin the Bottle each carry two decks marked 18+. If you choose to unlock them we store the birth year you enter on your account, so you are not asked again. You can leave it blank and the adult decks simply stay locked; nothing else on the site uses this field, and it is never shared. The two game pages themselves are excluded from search and carry no advertising.

Analytics: we may use analytics tools (for example Google Analytics) to understand which games are popular and how the site performs. These tools may set cookies and process your IP address and device type; we use the results in aggregate to improve the games, not to identify you personally.

What appears publicly

Your chosen player name, country flag, level and completion times appear on the in-game leaderboard visible to other players. When you play online multiplayer (such as Ludo or Chess), your player name is shown to the other players in your game room. Your email address is never shown to anyone.

How we use your information

To operate the games, save your progress, run leaderboards, send account emails (verification and password reset only — no marketing), credit donation rewards, and keep the site secure. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. To delete your account and its data, email [email protected] from your registered address and we will remove it within 30 days. Anti-abuse login-attempt records are deleted automatically within hours.

Children

The games are suitable for all ages, but accounts are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will delete the account.

Security

Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing (one-way, unreadable), all traffic uses HTTPS, and the database is not reachable from the internet. Private note text on your to-do items and calendar entries is encrypted before it is stored, so a copy of the database by itself does not reveal it.

You can add an authenticator app to your account from your profile, so that signing in needs a code from your phone as well as your password.

Who can see your data

Your content — your to-do items, calendar entries, notes and attachments — is not shared with, sold to, or viewable by any third party. It is not used for advertising and it is not passed to anyone outside this site. Private note text on your to-do items and calendar entries is encrypted before it is stored, so a stolen copy of the database does not reveal it, and everything travels over HTTPS in transit.

Other users of this site cannot see your list, your notes or your files.

Deleted to-dos and files

When you delete a to-do it goes to your own recycle bin and you can restore it from there. When you empty that bin it is removed from your account and you can no longer see it or restore it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
